What’s different about your program?
In Cahoots partners with manufacturers who all give back to others. When you sign up with us you’re not only meeting your needs, but you’re helping other non-profits as well. And the online catalog means we ship directly to your customer’s doorstep.
How does the online catalog work?
When your supporters order from your online catalog, we receive their order, prepare it, and ship directly to them, eliminating the hassle of you receiving inventory and sorting by student. You focus on selling, we handle the rest. Please note we are also happy to provide a paper order form if it better suits your group.
How long until customers receive their products?
Based on availability we are able to ship to customers as soon as possible after orders come in, usually within 2-3 business days. The freshly roasted coffee is roasted once a week and shipped the day after roasting. In the event that a special order is required to satisfy a customer, shipping would take place within 3 weeks of the completion of the sale.
Why are your products better?
Great question! The benefit of In Cahoots is that we sell products that people actually want and need. Everything in our catalog is something that will be put to good use every day. Our products are superior and never cheaply made. They are also not overpriced to inflate profits. We always make every effort to ensure we are offering the best price possible.
Do we pay sales tax?
We follow the laws and regulations of your state. If you provide the proper documentation required by your state, you will not be required to pay tax. If your group is not tax exempt, you will be charged tax.
How do we get paid and how much?
If your group is tax exempt, you will set up an account with our payment processor to have the funds deposited directly into your account. Otherwise, the money will come to In Cahoots and we will write a check to your group after the sale in the amount of your profit. Your group will receive $5 from each sale.
How can we advertise the sale?
There are many ways you can spread the word about your sale. We recommend to start advertising early with a table featuring some of our products. Remind members with monthly emails the 3 months prior to the sale, and increase to weekly in the month leading up to it.
